An African legend worthy of a poem or painting

We're joining forces with the Leopard Conservation Project to hold a worldwide poetry and artwork competition for two of the world's rarest, most mystical animals; the White Lion and the White Leopard.

To be in with a chance of winning some unique prizes, all you need to do is get creative! Submit a poem or electronic image of what the White Lions or White Leopards mean to you, as well as a brief outline of yourself and your aspirations. Also, remember to include where you live and a picture of yourself.

The winner will have their poem or image published in a very special limited edition coffee table book (of which the top 10 finalists will receive a copy). The book is the start of a series that will incorporate the magic of the White Lion and the White Leopard. The lucky winner will also receive an once-in-a-lifetime trip to Tsau (home of the White Lion) and an outdoor excursion with our Leopard conservationists.

Poems and artwork can be submitted to Facebook Causes: The Leopard Conservation Project or via email to leopardlioncomp@gmail.com. All entries must be submitted by 31^st January 2010.

Any artwork or poetry must be the work of the entrant. Plagiarism issues will rest on the entrant and not on the organisers of this competition. Any poem or artwork chosen to be published will remain the possession of the entrant. However, the organisers of the books will have the right to use this work as they see fit for the causes that have been identified as the Leopard Conservation Project and the Global White Lion Protection trust. The judge's decision is final. All entries must be in by the 31^st January 2010. Once the books are published the organisers will do their best to inform the owners of the poems and artwork. Photographs will only be considered where the pictures were NOT taken at any breeding camps, zoos, in cages or of any captive animals.
